ABDOU BAYEFALL アブドゥ バイファル
セネガル共和国出身、西アフリカ伝統舞踊のプロフェッショナル・ダンサー。
１７歳で名門舞踊団「Ballet Senomew」の最年少団員として初の国際舞台を踏み、「Fils du ballet」（バレエの申し子）の愛称をもらう。またモロッコでBaaba maal (セネガルの国民的歌手）の目にとまり、ツアーダンサーに加わる。その後スペイン「Ballet la frica 2000」に移籍。公演ではダンス、チヤカバ、ドラムと一人で３役をこなし、ダンスの指導を行い、２年間活躍する。セネガルに帰国後は、「Ballet la linguere」セネガル国立舞踊団に入団し、３年間ダンサー、コレオグラファーとして活躍する。セネガル政府より、・Djembe Dance（ジェンベ ダンス）・Sabar Dance（サバール ダンス）・Sorouba Dance （ソロウバ ダンス）・Tiakaba (チャカバ：竹馬を用いて1本足で踊るダンス）・Coumpo Dance （コンポー ダンス：ジョラ族のダンス）の5種類のダンスに関する、ダンス指導者として国際免許状を授かる。2002年のワールドカップ公演のため来日。その後日本を拠点としダンサー、ドラマーとして世界各地にてダンスワークショップ・演奏活動を行う。セネガルの伝統舞踊をこれからの若い世代に伝えていく貴重なダンサーの1人である。
ヘWest African Traditional Dancer,Abdou Bayefall, was born in Senegal. At the age of 17, as the youngest member of the prestigious dance company "Ballet Sinomew" he appeared on his first international stage Morocco and then people started to call him "Fils du Ballet",a godsent child of ballet .On that stage, he was caught up in the eyes of Baaba Maal (famous Senegalese singer) and joined his tour as a dancer "Ballet Africa 2000" in Spain. In the next two years, he played three different roles as a dancer, a performer of Thiakaba and drummer on the stage. also he played an active part as a dance teacher.
After returning to Senegal, he joined "Ballet la a Linguere", Senegal National Dance Company,and worked as the dancer and choreographer for three ears. Then the Government of Senegal gave him the international license as dance professor. The five types of dance he can teach includes DjembeDance, SabarDance, SouroubaDance, Thiakaba(dance on one food with stilts), CoumpoDance(dance of jola tribe).
He came to Japan for the 2002 World Cup performance . After that, he moved the main base of activities to Japan, and as the dancer and drummer, he holds his workshops and performance on the stage around the world.
He is one of the outstanding dancers who will inherit the traditional Senegalese dance to the younger generation.
